By Catharine J Anderson
I am an Evolutionary Astrologer and writer. I have been publishing articles and stories on Substack for several years as Ancient Wisdom. This is an extension of that... I explore the unseen. I write at the intersection of cosmic design, spiritual narrative, and ultimate reality. This space is dedicated to deconstructing the universe and our place within it.
Through my essays, stories, and deep dives on Evolutionary Astrology, I share regular analyses on archetypal patterns, karmic dynamics, and spiritual evolution.
My writing sits firmly at the intersection of cosmic design, metaphysical theology, and spiritual narrative. I focus on deconstructing ultimate reality through:
- Evolutionary Astrology: Tracking the soul's journey, karmic growth patterns, and the Pluto Paradigm.
- Esoteric & Gnostic Studies: Exploring historical frameworks, from fourth-century Coptic texts to the work of Jeffrey Wolf Green.
- Metaphysical Fiction: Crafting narratives that bend reality, challenge perception, and study human consciousness.
This space is dedicated to understanding the universe, breaking survival scripts, and exploring our place within the collective soul.
Roots in Evolutionary Astrology & Metaphysics
My foundational approach to interpreting the natal chart was forged through direct study under the pioneers of the Evolutionary Astrology (EA) paradigm. I studied extensively under both Jeffrey Wolf Green and Starlady Kim Marie, Director of the Evolutionary Astrology Network.
Through their rigorous lineage, I learned to view the natal chart not as a rigid set of limitations, but as a dynamic map of the soul's intent—tracking its karmic history, evolutionary trajectory, and spiritual desire across lifetimes.
Evolutionary Astrology Publications & Editorial Work
Beyond my personal research and writing, I have spent years working behind the scenes to help preserve, clarify, and expand core texts within the Evolutionary Astrology community.
I contributed directly as an author and proofreader to several seminal books by Jeffrey Wolf Green, including Neptune: Whispers from Eternity, Medical Astrology, and the definitive EA Glossary.
The Journal of Evolutionary Astrology
Driven by a vision to create a collaborative, high-caliber resource for the community, I brought The Journal of Evolutionary Astrology to life. I served as an editor and authored the introduction for this comprehensive compilation (view Table of Contents PDF), which unites 25 professional astrologers from around the globe to present advanced case studies based on Green’s teachings.
What You Will Find Here
This site serves as an archive and continuing laboratory for my thoughts on the mechanics of the soul and consciousness. Moving beyond standard pop-astrology, my writing dives deeply into:
- Pluto and Evolutionary Vectors: How the soul utilizes specific archetypal tensions and karmic dynamics to break self-limiting patterns across lifetimes.
- The Nature of Consciousness: Merging ancient metaphysical philosophy with modern psychological evolution and archetypal psychology.
- Practical Metaphysics & Purposeful Fiction: Translating complex celestial dynamics and spiritual truths into actionable growth through written essays and illustrative stories.
Thank you for being here and participating in the unfolding dialogue of soul evolution. For additional background and archived writing, you can also explore my past publication work on Ancient Wisdom on Substack.
