Substack Information Overload: An Evolutionary Astrology Perspective

As a writer I loved Substack when it was focused on long form writing. Over time it has changed and so have I. I enjoy it less and less. There are so many notes and so many people saying the same things over and over. It is overwhelming and boring at the same time.
Looking at that shift through an evolutionary lens, it makes total sense why it feels exhausting. That transition from deliberate, deep essays into a frantic ecosystem of Notes and endless micro-updates pushes us right into the shadow of Gemini and Aquarius—where data hoarding and collective static replace actual substance. When everyone is broadcasting identical talking points, it creates that strange, grating paradox of feeling utterly overwhelmed by the volume while being profoundly bored by the lack of true resonance.
It becomes an exercise in energetic survival: realizing that stepping back and muting the echo chamber, isn't just a preference anymore—it's a requirement for keeping your own inner voice intact.
